Are they worth anything? I looked on ebay and the price varies and I don't know if they even sell?

Well, they're worth a shilling - you could probably get 5p for them officially.

As for selling them as collectables - they're as common as muck. They actually circulated up until quite recently (late 80s, I think) until the new mini-5p came out.

You might get someone who wants one, but you won't make enough out of it to be remotely worth your time.
