Dorm question: Twin XL sheets?

Hi, everyone,

I am going to college soon and I got Twin XL sheets. However, different places say different things--that my dorm uses twin beds instead of Twin XL, or that they are indeed Twin XL.

If it turns out that my bed is twin, will my Twin XL sheets still work nicely? Or would it be awkward?

I am assuming you mean the base sheet that goes on the mattress. If the beds are twin the sheet will just be longer than the bed so will end up needing more tucked under at the end and if fitted sheets they wont fit so neatly.
Better than the other way round and trying to get a twin size sheet on an XL (extra long) bed :smile:
