Failing a module

Hi im taking Computer Science BSc, im a first year student.

I missed my exam today and im not sure if im eligible for a resit because the university I think wants 75% attendance in order to be able to partake in a resit. I've tried emailing my lectures and module leaders and even the head but im not getting any direct answers.

How many credits do you think I need to pass my first year?
What happens if I fail a module?
Will I have to retake the year if they dont let me resit?

Why would you have less than 75% attendance?
Are you an international student?
Have you spoken to registry or the SU or looked on the uni website for the exam rules?
Normally if you fail you resit and capped at 40%
If you get close they sometimes let you proceed.

It says attempted 120 credits and passed at least 90.
