Where to move for PhD study

Hello everyone, I am an aspiring psephologist (elections analyst) who graduated earlier this year from Keele University with an MRes (Master of Research) in politics at merit level, and who acquired statistical training within said politics degree.

I am currently living in the North of England and would like to know where in general in the UK I should move for suitable politics PhDs. What advice do you have?
