What do I need to know about the forum?
Please be aware of the TSR Community Guidelines before posting.

Within the Debate and Current Affairs section, we also have a few additional guidelines to help keep discussions productive:
- Please don't resort to making personal remarks. Debate the point, not the person.
- Please check in the forum to make sure a discussion you wish to have doesn't already have a thread of its own.
- If you've found a thread from a very long time ago with no recent replies, it's probably best starting a new one.
- Make sure your thread is in the right place, we have a separate forum for religion and another for debates about society, so please use those if you feel your conversation may be better placed there.

Got any questions?
If it's a query about TSR Moderation, you're better off starting a thread in this forum.
Otherwise, feel free to post your question below.

Plato, because he's one of the few philosophers that actually thought his replies through and didnt just personal hubris on the subject. Plato's Discourses have outlived and outshined many other lesser known philosophers like Kant, Marx and Nietzche.
