Hi, I am aiming to apply to medicine next year (currently in year 12). My GCSE grades are decent like 6,7,7,7,7,7,7,8,9,9 and one 4 in computing. Do you think that this one grade would bring me down drastically and risk my application to medicine?Should I retake it next year? any suggestions are welcome

no it won't - the majority of med schools have minimum requirements for subjects like maths and eng lang, and for many schools once you surpass these, gcses won't be taken into consideration anymore, and it's just a straight ucat cutoff. however, there are some unis that weight gcses heavily so these will be the ones to avoid.
