Natural Science Cambridge

Will I have a disadvantage as opposed to a specialized degree such as MatSci or Chemistry at Oxford if I take the Natural Science course?
I'm confused as to what you're trying to ask? Are you asking if having a degree in Natural Sciences will put you at a disadvantage compared to, for example, Chemistry?

Apologies, I'm asking if studying natural sciences would put you at a disadvantage in terms of knowledge and ability as opposed to those with majors specialized in a single science discipline.

In the NatSci course you get more breadth that single sciences courses but also the depth of knowledge as other single sciences courses- which is why the course is so tough and intense. So no, you will not be disadvantaged. So for example, if you specialise in pharmacology at the end of the NatSci course, you will not be disadvantaged against someone who has done a straight up pharmacology degree.
