Social events for 18 year olds to make friends

So i am currently on a gap year and i feel very isolated and i haven't spoken to people around my age in quite a while now. I really want to make friends but i can't find anywhere that isn't clubbing or something to socialise in london for my age. I am an introvert so i don't what to be somewhere i will not feel myself. Are there are any workshops or events to make friends for my age in LONDON?

Hi there, I'll dive straight to the point.

Meetup.com: This is a great website for finding groups of people who share your interests. There are plenty of meetup groups for introverts and people looking to make new friends in London.

Join a book club: There are many book clubs in London that are specifically designed for people who want to meet new friends. These clubs meet regularly to discuss books and socialize.

Attend a language exchange: Many people attend language exchanges to practice a new language, but they're also a great way to meet new people.

Join a fitness class: Fitness classes are a great way to meet new people who share your interests. You can try something new like yoga, pilates, or dance classes.

Attend a creative workshop: There are many creative workshops in London that are designed for people to learn a new skill and make friends at the same time. You can try something like pottery, painting, or cooking classes.

Remember, making friends takes time and effort, but it's worth it in the end. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there and try new things. Good luck!
