YU TING

I made a mistake when applying my name, I'm not of English ethnicity and have many names depending on the language, but my legal name is Yu Ting, when I was applying for student finance I accidentally used my English name "Hannah" and now I'm being asked for evidence of a name change! what do I do to change it?

In this case we'd recommend writing a letter to us (signed and dated) explaining this. Please upload this to your account: you don't need to post it.

The assessors will then be able to confirm your name, but they'll let you know by e-mail if they need any further details. Just to let you know, we're currently processing evidence in 15 working days.
