What is consent validity within the OAPA 1861
Hi everyone, for my personal statement for law I am mentioning a case which under the OAPA they were found guilty and so I was asked to research consent validity within the act but I’m confused on what that means. They also said how crimes that are more serious than batter and assault- charged under s39 CJA 1988 means consent operates as a defence. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated as I’m just a bit confused.
