(a) A quantity 𝑦 is derived from a value 𝑎 via the equation 𝑦 = 𝑘𝑎^2, where 𝑘 is a
constant with no uncertainty. State, and rationalise, the relative error in 𝑦 for each
of the following two cases. [5]
(i) 𝑎 has a positive relative systematic error of 10%
(ii) 𝑎 has a relative random error of 10%
