how can i know more about god

I’m not religious but my suggestion would be to read the religious texts that are associated with your faith/the faith you want to be part of. For example:
Bible - Christianity.
Qur'an - Islam.
Gita - Hinduism.
Torah - Judaism.
Guru Granth Sahib - Sikhism.
Tripitaka - Buddhism.

Read the messages of God which are given in his books and then with your wisdom You will be able to find God as it is mentioned in Quran
"Verily in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water (rain) which Allah sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive there with after its death, and the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed Ayat (proofs, evidence, signs, etc.) for people of understanding."
