Switching course after foundation year

Hello, so i was offered CS at a low rank uni but looking into it, i haven't seen many good opinions. I was offered foundation in EE engineering at a much better rank uni (Kent) and was told i could transfer into cs on call during clearing however i'll need certain credits etc. I emailed the department but they havent replied the specifics.
How easy is it to switch course after foundation (at same university), i don't have the right a-level grade for y1 compsci but the people on call all said my a-levels wouldnt be looked at if i wanted to transfer after FY into y1 compsci. Advice me please.

I talked to Kent today too, it’s 60% to pass across all modules I believe. They also said they don’t look at a levels beyond FY if you did want to transfer so ! If you was to transfer after y1 at lower ranked uni, you’d still have to get good grades + some uni still look at a levels, you’ll have to contact each and find out. You’d be in y1 again anyways usually if u was to transfer :smile:
