Primary teacher requirements

Hi, so I’m currently in my first year at uni studying early childhood studies. After this I plan on doing a PGCE to qualify as a primary teacher. At gcse I only did btec (applied) science and religion. Will that be enough to qualify as a teacher because I plan on moving back home (Northern Ireland) and working there where majority of schools are catholic?.

Hi, those GCSEs should be fine. To get on the pgce primary course you need a minimum 2:2 in your undergrad at most universities
