Data Science MSc - Mathematics Entry Requirements
Hey all,
I'm looking to undertake a Masters course in Data Science and/or Machine Learning, but I'm not sure about the entry requirements in regards to mathematics. I have a Bachelors in Computing, but my degree didn't contain any pure maths modules.
Currently I am considering Edinburgh, Royal Holloway, Queen Mary.
Does anyone know if the MIT MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science would be considered by UK Universities? I'm also considering completing 60 credits of the Open University's Certificate of Higher Education in Mathematics, although this is much more expensive and covers more topics than are strictly necessary for data science and machine learning.
