I don't fit in at work

Advice needed please! I work for a travel company and feel like I don't fit in at all (the job itself is also quite boring an unfulfilling!) The people I work with can all be described as very extroverted with 'big' personalities and last night at a Christmas do, someone told me I was so "clean cut" and not like the rest of them, and that I should drink more. Others have made references to how quiet I am, which always makes me feel uncomfortable. I just don't know what to do because I'm a fairly introverted and quiet person by nature, apart from with those I know well and feel comfortable around. I just don't want to feel like I have to drink just to be an interesting person to them!
