Yes GCSEs play a part in any medicine uni cause it’s competitive but some unis care more about GCSEs than others

Most schools usually give a threshold but most candidates who get accepted would have almost straight A*s and As anyway.

Each Uni treats your 'GCSE profile' slightly differently. This is why doing your research, and going to Open Days at each Uni is important so that you can ask these sort of questions.
