Placements
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows where the best places to volunteer or do placements are in the west middlands area (or just places in general) that will boost my CV and help with applications in the future.
I've done my year 11 placement at a UHDB hospital, which was a very lucky but good experience. I got to meet new people and talk to people who may be struggling, I also was a help to the staff there by speeding up the intake and outtake of patients but stripping, deflating/cleaning beds and redressing them ready for the next patient.
Besides this I haven't really volunteered or done another placement since as I would like to as I think it's quite beneficial.
Side note - I want to be a paramedic in the future and I also have an opportunity this summer to do a placement if I really wanted to.
