Bases of DNA GCSE biology

Do i need to know the full names of the bases of dna for example c is cytosine in the ocr gcse biology paper
I think you should ask your teacher / check the specification just to be sure. But I did ocr and from what I can remember, you don’t need to know the full names, just letters.

Usually you don’t need to know the names just that A goes with T and C goes with G
I remember it like Apple-Tree Car-Garage
Plus the more you go over it the more the names just stick with you

The names of the four bases are basic knowledge in genetics and for this very reason so important to know, that goes for further genetics and biology at higher grades all the more. Apart from a possible specification of the bases in an exam paper for OCR GSCE or not.
