Nurse band 5 Salary

I just wanted to know how much would a band 5 nurse earn after giving tax?
Can someone give me the calculation please I REALLY REALLY WANT TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can see the NHS payscales online, and use a tax calculator.

Based on current pay for 2023/24 year

£ 28,500.00

Personal Allowance
£ 12,570.00

Pension Deduction (7.7%)
£ 2,194.50

Taxable Income
£ 13,735.50

Income Tax
£ 2,747.10

National Insurance
£ 1,831.26

Net Income
£ 21,727.14

You then divide it by 12 to give you approx £1,800 a month.
You'll have a pay rise hopefully from April which will add some more reductions.

I'm gathering you are a NHS England band 5 nurse as this is for England staff.

NHS Scotland dual registered adult nurse and midwife.
