A Level Physics - Electric Fields Question

Please may someone help with the follow question:

A diagram shows that two point charges of +8.0nC and -8.0nC are placed a distance 0.60m apart (where both of the point charges are horizontally aligned).

Q: Show that the magnitude of the resultant E-field at X, midway between the charges (0.30m), is 1600NC^-1.

What issues are you facing?

Make sure you are adding the E-field vectors at the midpoint correctly.

I was facing an issue of how to treat the E-field from both point charges. But now I understand, as both E-fields would be towards the negative charge. Thank you very much!
