I have been offered places in (uni of) Glasgow and Strathclyde. I’ve had two offers from both (Computer Science & Software Engineering). Strathclyde offered me 2nd year, and Glasgow offered me 1st year. I am coming from HND at City of Glasgow College. I cannot decide, Strathclyde is closer and going into second year will save me time. Although I think the facilities at Glasgow are superior and I also think maybe the extra year will help me with my academia?

Also considering if SE is worth it over CS due to the placement. Which I’m unsure is available in Glasgow.

Anyone with any advice would be welcome ! Thank you
