What are the key dates for clearing with respect to Irish unis?
Wondering also whether courses are available to see before clearing has opened

Irish universities aren’t part of UCAS apart from NI. They don’t take part in clearing (clearing is part of UCAS)

My understanding is that the way applications work in Ireland there’s no need for something like clearing
Have you submitted a CAO application before the 1 February deadline?
Offers are only made in august after results are released

Already been declined and was hoping to be able to apply to the same university for a different course

You need to discuss this with the Irish university. They have a totally different system to the UK.
