I spent the better part of a day in Santa Croce in Firenze and that is definitely up there. But then I also went to Milano to see my mate's band play then spent the day after in Milan Cathedral, so that 24 hours was great, too.

In terms of what makes me happy, well, I'm pretty easily pleased. Good company; a good book; good music, pretty, historic places; teaching; good craic.

People: the immediate family' the mrs; the lads; my students (usually); the rock night crew. I appreciate them all.
