This is the bridge features in Still Ill for those of you who ever wondered what it is like to kiss under the iron bridge

Sadly I still haven't had the oppurtunity to kiss under the ironic bridge but it is horrible and not at all romantic.

Edit title should be iron not ironic

I haeared that once, I can't even remember what album or song it is on, but its somthing about a rented flat in Whalley Range.

Whalley Range is a very up and comming area of Manchester these days, its now quite an expensive place to live. However in the 1980's it had a reputation for prostitutes and gangland crime. Morrissey also had a very good friend who lived in Whalley Range at the time, I am not sure if he moved in with her not.

This is the house where Morrissey lived with his mother, even when he was in the Smiths (at least the early years)

What's all this buzz about Morrissey?

I once heard "First Of the Gang To Die" and by the end it felt like I'd heard the same song repeated five or so times, which was enough thankyou.

The buzz about Morrissey is his lyrics, the buzz about the Smiths is Marr and Morrissey's song writing. The music is simply brilliant. The lyrics are often quite comical and amusing but also very true.
