i agree the approaches ? is really hard! the issues and schiz ? are easy though.i wanted gender bias and ethica issues to come up on june exam! but now they wont as they were on the jan exam! :frown: or will they?

for pessimism i would do this:

psychodynamic approach--> an individual is fixated at the oral stage during childhood because of his mother not nurseing him on time all of the time. this resulted in the child having a pessimist attitude in their adult personality. something like that.


cognitive explantion --> the individual has a negative schema. a schema is.....

behavioural explanation --> the individual has leant to become pessimisitic through operant condition. the individual may have constantly had negative reinforcements during situations and this lead to them developing a negative view of life as they belive that nothing they will do will result in positive reinforcements. something like that.

that ? is really hard! i would have done pessimism though rather than absent mindedness.
