Hi, i'm starting DD101 in October. From reading on the website, the preperation materials are being sent on 7 August, and course materials sometime in September. It seems like ages to wait: i've been filling my time reading round on the subject.

Regarding despatch dates, take them as a rough guesstimate. I've had things arrive a couple of weeks after them or even before them. DHL are pretty good at the actual delivery bit though so no worries there.

Hi all! After much deliberation about different courses and things, I've just registered to do S104, Exploring Science, starting in October! Eek! I'm already nervous, I left college in 2006 but haven't studied anything maths or science based (apart from social sciences!) since GCSEs! I wanted something a bit more challenging though as at college I took mainly essay based subjects which I was good at, but always found quite easy, so I've gone for something that won't be so easy. I work in admin and feel like I never use my brain anymore, so it'll be good to get the cogs turning again

Now I've just got to find someone to certify my passport for my financial application!

I'll be doing this one in January. Sounds facinating so I'm really looking forward to it.

Thanks! I might go there at the weekend if I can't find anyone else to sign it! I would go after work as I work in London but they shut at 5pm I have a friend who's just qualified as a Police Officer and another friend who's a teacher so I'm going to try them first! I'm trying to rush though, to get it done in time!!
