US GPA for University of Glamorgan

Hello,
I'm an American student, who is applying for post graduate study at the University of Glamorgan. This is a question for anyone who is studying at Glamorgan currently. Would any of you know what the US GPA standards are for Glamorgan? I know I was told in my conditional offer to have either a 2:2 or 2:1 GPA with my degree. What would a US GPA have to be to be classified as a 2:1 or 2:2 at Glamorgan? I would really appreciate anyone's help.

Hi,

You will have to ask the admissions tutor who gave you the offer. It's really difficult for us to tell - a 2:2 or 2:1 would mean 50% to 69% but UK degrees are marked very differently! We don't really use GPA here - degrees are given a degree classification, such as 2:1.

Anyway, the short answer is ask the university!
