What does everyone think the grade boundaries will be for an a*? I'm really hoping to get an a* and I didn't do so well on my non calc. (74-79 on non calc and 88-93 on calc so I'm hoping the grade boundaries will be 160-165)

you had to round the amount of gravel bags from 2.64 up to 3 because it said he can only buy the gravel in bags

Fcuk i am a retard thanks bro
i feel so stupid because for the volume of the solid (hemisphere + cone) question i forgot to cube the radius when using volume of hemisphere = 2/3 x pi x r^3 and i squared it instead :/

what was q17 ?

The similar shapes one and nice that no area or volume involved here so most should pick up full marks. Also, of course qu 25 is rounded to 302 (3sf) not as originally written pre rounding 301.6, before anyone mentions!

I worked out the LCM as 24, so realised the LCM can not be used.
You need to use 72, as the question stated more than 60.

So 72 is the first number after 60 which can be divided by 12 and 8.

72/12 = 6
72/8 = 9

I can remember what it was for the sausages so let sausage box price be 'x'

9x = sausage box price
6 * 2.50 = 15 = cake box price

15 + 9x would give you final answer, of course you wouldn't have 9x though. I think it was 25.something
The sausage roll box price was £1.20 each and total was £25.80.

1100 x 400 x 6 = 2640000
1m^3=1000000cm^3
2640000/1000000 =2.64
2.64/0.4=6.6
~7 (needed to round up)
7 x price per bag = subtotal
subtotal x 70% = ANSWER

dam I did not know baout the 1000000cm thing.

just wait for mr m
For the simultaneous equations question, would you lose marks if you only got x= -3.6, y= -4.8? And if so, how many?

Fair enough.

Ah, you see, I used tan - we were given the opposite and the adjacent after all.

That's what I did! Was it the correct way of doing it?

Do you know when Mr M is going to be putting it up?
btw for everyone who wrote negative correlation, like me, june 2013 calc mark scheme said:

B1 for an acceptable relationship eg. ‘the older the car the
lower the value’ (accept ‘negative correlation’ but not just ‘negative’)

I expect there will be a range for the answers.

I've made one here http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2712681
Anyone got any answers for the foundation paper today?
Guys... Guys... I didn't ask for the correlation... I specifically said "describe what the graph shows" for example: the lower the units will result in a higher etc...
