What are Brighton Uni's Education Courses like?

I'm considering Brighton University for one of their Education Courses.

Just wondering from current students what their courses and Uni is like?
Do they support people with mental health issues?
What are their placements like?
Is it easy to get a job after?

Thanks x

Hi Lottie,

I don't study Education, but I can help with a couple of your questions. I'm a third year nursing student.

Every student has a personal tutor, who will be there for you throughout your degree. Each of the schools also has tutors to help with personal issues, as well as academic. There will also be people to help with placements and mentors to help you while you're there.

In terms of your health, the uni has a team called Student Services, who run support sessions, counselling and are independent from your course. They've got an office on each campus, and they'll also send emails and messages throughout the year about the things they run.

I've put a couple of links you might find useful at the bottom of this reply. If you have any other questions I could help with, feel free.
