Essex vs brighton?

hi
i attended an insight event at the southend campus for essex uni and i didn't really like the faculty (i found them quite condescending and they kinda treated us like primary school children but thats just my experience of 2 lecturers for maths)

i don't remember brighton much i only remember seeing bunnies outside when i went for my sister's open day a couple years ago, so i'd say go brighton but i have no idea how the faculty are for the subject you're considering

I'm thinking of considering business and economics in Brighton and finance and accounting in Exeter

Hello!

We are sorry that you was not happy with our trip to the Southend Campus! 🙁

Within this visit, was you visiting to see the Essex Business School?

Our Colchester campus also teaches Business, and has a fantastic teaching centre! .

We're built on sustainable foundations. Our Colchester home is the UK's first zero carbon business school building. Its design reflects our commitment to responsible business practice in both our teaching and research. More than one tonne of carbon is saved per day through the building’s energy efficient design and low carbon technologies. The stunning winter garden brings the outside indoors and creates a space that people can use all year round. The garden is designed to be a positive place for mental well-being, and the plants themselves help to regulate air quality.

Our students benefit from a practical education in finance with our state of the art Bloomberg Trading Floor. Students can access real financial data in almost real time to help them build company profiles for their project work as well as experiencing how to execute trades and terminal commands.

Have a look at our courses here: https://www.essex.ac.uk/subjects/business-and-management.

In terms of campus: Our gym is home to over 160 fitness stations, on-site parking, machines with TV and audio systems and 300 fitness classes every month. We have our 250-metre climbing wall with bouldering and top roping facilities, as well as having over 20 indoor courts including basketball, volleyball, squash, netball and futsal. Our 40 acres of outdoor sports space includes an 18-hole disc golf course, cricket pitch, tennis court, jogging routes, two rugby pitches and five football pitches. We have over 165 societies and clubs to join and be part of! 💪🤸⛹️🏋️🏂🏇🏌️

Overlooking the lakes at the heart of our Colchester Campus is the Albert Sloman Library. Use our paternoster lift to reach six floors of research resources, specialist materials, and of course a whole lot of books. It's the perfect environment for quiet reading or that last-minute essay. The library is open 24/7 during term time and has a wide range of learning resources; books, journals, British and foreign-newspapers, microfilms and audio-visual materials - most of course materials are online as well so you can access this from home just as well. 📕📚📑

89% of our graduates are in employment or further study (Graduate Outcomes 2023).

As Britain's oldest recorded development, the city of Colchester is steeped in over two thousand years of history after being founded by the Ancient Romans, and it's also where our main university campus is located. But it's not just Colchester that has lots for you to explore. Chelmsford is the first and only city in Essex, showcasing a bustling city centre packed full of shops and restaurants, it's also the birthplace of radio. A little further north of the county you'll find the village Tiptree, so famous for producing jam, The Queen marked their 125th celebration with a visit by Her Majesty🍓🍒. Our Colchester Campus is also easily reached from London and Stansted Airport in under one hour, with 3 train stations near by🚅🛫

Check out our website for everything we have to offer on campus: https://www.essex.ac.uk/life/colchester-campus.

I understand this is a lot of info - but I hope this helps! ✨😎🎓😊😁
