Edexcel Business Studies Unit 3

I sat the Business studies exam today, I thought it went badly as I ran out of time. How did everyone think it went?

i thought it went well buts its only business its pretty easy everything basically leads to an increase in profit

That exam was a gift from Edexcel, 20 marks on ethical businesses was great

eh, I think I got 56,000
I got 56,000 and 2500 i think for the rooms one? Was an easy paper though i think, lets just hope we all did alright
I got 56,000 for the bottom one and 2500 for the rooms i think? The paper was reasonably easy i think

Same :biggrin:. What a gift of an exam but will it drive up grade boundaries. I only need an A in this to get an A*
For the 56,000 one, didn't you have to take away the variable costs as well? Like it was £10 variable per room, so £39,000 variable costs as well meaning it was £139,000 total costs and £156,000 revenue so the answer was £17,000. Right? Considering it said "Fixed costs are £100,000" and the formula is "Profit = Revenue - Total costs"

He had £195,000 of total revenue. 3900 x 50 = £195,000
