Help!

Hello, today i got my results from GCSE. The grades were alright but i was unhappy with the C that i got in Mathemactics (EDEXCEL). And this meant i couldn't do certain subjects in A Level e.g. Chemistry and Physics. My question is that will it be possible to retake Maths in November and hopefully by then i would get a B-A* and if that happens will i be able to pick Chemistry and Physics by that time in A Level. Thanks

Hi yes it is possible to retake your maths GCSE in the month of November however it is best when you start your sixth form or college that you speak to the exam officer to clarify this and I think their maybe a charge.
A level Physics and Chemistry require a lot of use with maths if these subjects are what you really wish to do i suggest you speak to the teachers and see if they can let you on. Did you get the specific grades in science at GCSE to do both physics and chemistry?

Again thanks for the reply! After thinking for a bit, i'm starting to think Economics is probably a better choice as there is a chance there is less to catch up on. However i was only a few marks off a B in Eng Language. So i might end up retaking both :/ Im really not sure on what to do. The annoying thing is that i got a B in Eng Lit but there isn't much subjects that require a B in Eng Lit. Any idea how resitting Eng Lang works?

Economics is also a tough subject however if its something you wish to do I suggest you do it and if your grades are an issue to do economics i suggest you speak to the teacher that specialises in it.
Retaking both english and maths GCSE on top of the A Levels you are taking will be tough!!! If you said you were close to a B in English Language I suggest you get it remarked!!
