Yep, I hope I get a job too I'm looking for anything to do with Electronic Engineering, which is what I have done a university course in - so it'd be worth getting a job along that lines as its something that I ahve been interested in!
Yeah, tell me about that damned laptop... I don't think it is suitable for anyone to use...
I've got a cooling stand on it and a couple of extra fans blowing air onto it, and it still cooks itself and gets hot! Once I have switched to my HP laptop, the Acer is being completely disassembled in order to cure it. (You have to have access to the motherboard in order to access the fan/heatsink area; see this guide for more info.)
I'd personally avoid all Acers after this bad experience with one...

This Acer Aspire has always been a nightmare, tbh... Even less than a year after I got it, it was cookin' itself...
See screenshot for exactly what is going on - however, I will say this: on June 13, 2012 (so less than a year since I got the Acer) the Core Temps were at 96'C and 97'C, despite just having Google Chrome open.... Not Good!
