Broken Laptop Screen!!!

My laptop screen is broken, I plugged my Laptop into my TV, via HDMI and everything seems to work, how much would it cost to fix it? HELP!!!

Hi,

What do you actually get on the laptop's screen itself? Is it totally blank, or is there something?
If you unplug the laptop from the TV, do you get a picture?

Also, what make.model of laptop is it that has the issue?

yes when I plug the HDMI cord from my laptop into the TV everything comes up

Hi,

In that case, it looks to be either a fault with the display cable or the screen itself. From that, I know it's the screen itself and not any display settings on the laptop.

You could possibly get it repaired at a shop but they may charge quite a bit... Or, if you could let me know exactly what type of Lenovo you have, I could find the parts and a disassemble guide so you could do it yourself if required, which will save a bit of money :smile:
