Co-ordinate Geometry Assessment Help

Help please :frown:

i cant do my assessment and its due in tomorrow!!!
Can anyone help?

1. The Point A and B have coordinates (3,4) and (7,-6) respectively. The stright line 'l' passes through A and is perpendicular to AB. Find an equation for 'l', giving your answer in the form ax+by+c=0, where a, b and c are integers.

2. The stright line 'l1' has equation y=3x-6. The stright line 'l2' is perpendicular to 'l1' and passes through the point (6,2).

Find an equation for 'l2' in the form y=mx+c, where 'm' and 'c' are constants.

Theres others but these for now
Please help !

Advice:
1. Post maths questions in the maths forum you are more likely to get a quick repsonse

2. Don't leave assessments to the last minute if you are going to need help from TSR users as people aren't online 24-7 to answer questions

For these problems do you know how to find an equation for a line when you know the gradient of the line and the coordinates of a point on that line?

(yy1)=m(xx1) (y - y_1) = m(x - x_1)

What have you learnt about the gradient of 2 lines that are perpendicular to each other?

m1×m2=1 m_1 \times m_2 = -1
