I'm confuced!!! Wouldn't it be better for your hair to heat it when wet rather than heating when it is not wet? When heating wet hair, the water molecules will take up some of the heat energy and when it reaches the latent heat of vapourisation, the water molecules will vapourise. But when dry hair is heated, there will be no water molecules to absorb the heat and the hair strands will be exposed to a larger amount of heat.

if u use ghd's then don't straighten from wet, your hair mightlook straight from a distance, but really it will be like a straight frizz. If u have to do it at least get the propers 1's so that the steam can escape and your hair is smooth.
