80's Clothes

In Freshers Week my uni are having an 80s themed fancy dress night.

Does anyone have any suggestions of things to wear and also wear said things could perhaps be purchased? Please? :redface:

Miss Selfridge does metallic puffball skirts (try one of their larger stores) which are very eighties. Teamed with a lycra top (like one of those used for gymnastics) and a cinched in belt, perhaps.

think the really horrible topshop clothes that were in a couple of years ago. those nasty big jumpers that were all baggy but tight round the waist and were made of kind of sparkly material in clashing stripey colours.

anything in a nasty printed material.

cropped puffy jackets in disgusting colours, legwarmers, big hair.

Like so, except larger and a lot more offensive. I figure the metallic ones are your best bet, as the h&m ones are actually quite nice.
