guests and parkin

just a quick querie guys for anyone in the know
if i was to ask a friend to stay for 2 nights to get in on the lufbra scene, would she be able to get a parking permit easy? Would i need to get it for her prior to her visit, if so how and will they be arsey about it at all cos technically we're not allowed guests in our room?
Anyone whose had to deal with this problem can they throw me some advice

I asked about this as my parents were bringing me some stuff down, and they said to go to Security and get a visitors permit (although they replied to my email the day after they came so we just left the car wherever lol).
