Are there any mathematics students who can answer some questions about the course? How challenging is it, compared to somewhere like Warwick? St Andrews seems to be quite high up on most league tables, but it's rarely mention when talking about the best undergrad maths courses. Also, if I've applied for the mathematics fast track, is it possible to switch to the full course or second year entry when I arrive, or are they strict about only going into the stream you applied for?
