2011 A2 edexcel textbook

Need to know if Edexcel are bringing out a new textbook for A2 US government and politics so i dont spend 21 quid on an old edition...

Thats the current one, but my teacher thought they might print a new edition covering the run up to Obama's mid -terms.

Also, if they arent bringing out a new textbook, they do these annual survey things which cover up to date topic material, would the current textbook and that be ok?
