Subjects for Optical/ Chemist Careers

Hey, I want to go down the medical route but not too sure which subjects to choose for A Level - out of Chemistry, Physics and Biology, which of these do you need to go down the medical route? Which other subjects would be a good choice?

Thank you

Definitely do chemistry and biology.

Maybe take a combination like:
Chemistry
Biology
Physics/Maths/FM
+ An essay subject for AS (History, English lit and so on)

Take a look at uni websites and see what they request

In order to do anything even remotely medical, most universities will require Chemistry. If you fancy going down the biomedical or biochemistry routes, then Biology is also preferred (and may also be required). If you fancy taking straight medicine, then maths would be the best 3rd A-level to take. At AS, I don't think universities mind which subject you choose.
