Would a university forgive my rubbish GCSEs?

I got A*AABBBCCCDD At GCSE With the A* in Maths, and AAB in science. Would a russell group university look past these bad results, if i had AAAA at AS, and predicted AAA at A2. I don't have a clue what i want to study yet, but Law seems to be the front runner at the moment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated; Thanks!

Bad GCSEs won't stop you getting an offer, they just won't help you.
