Hopefully... it's one of the only exams I have revised this much for :') I'm aiming for a high UMS as well .. and that's only going to happen if I don't make stupid mistakes :angry:
Good luck to you! :smile:
Feeling kinda depressed after the biology exam >.< hoping this'll be better. Though the grade boundaries are quite a bit higher for Chemistry aren't they? D= Godammit, please be nice this time OCR!

increases the rate of the reaction
can be recycled, used again
non toxic, no harmful chemicals
no high energy requirements which would denature enzymes --> benefits of lower energy use include no need to burn fossil fuel which emits CO2 a greenhouse gas, lower energy costs

yes also mention that more pure/specific products are produced too

Bet this exam will throw up one tough question, like the bond angle one from f211.

Problem is there's no way to prepare for them...

oh yeah, ok.

Here's one everyone:
Describe and explain the effect of a decrease in concentration of sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide on the rate of the following chemical attraction:

H2SO4 + 2NaOH --> Na2SO4 + 2H2O

Just making sure you were ready for the tricky part of the exam which is filling in the front page.

Do keep in mind that you must write in BLOCK CAPITALS.

H2SO4 + 2NaOH --> Na2SO4 + 2H2O

The decrease in concentration would lead to a decrease in the frequent collision of the particles. This means the number of successful collisions per second (that exceed activation energy) decreases and therefore the rate of reaction decreases.

right?
