Yep- OCR B. Probably the worst A level physics course of the bunch imo.

RIP then, I do wonder what goes through schools minds when they pick OCR B for A-level Science. It's known to not be a good specification, I think. OCR A is where it's at if you're going to do OCR.

Even then, I’d avoid OCR A. Edexcel is probably the best for A level physics imo (and dare I say it, AQA is the best in terms of course structure for chemistry and biology).

In the mind of my former physics teacher, it’s because the context based approach of the OCR B course makes it more relevant and useful to real life. I can’t say I’m sure I agree, but it’s not my decision.

AQA for bio? nah, you gotta write an essay.

You don't like OCR?

I’m pretty sure that you have to write essays for the 6 markers in bio regardless of exam board.

No, not at all. I feel they either massively oversimplify the subjects (see spec A of each science) or massively overcomplicate the subjects (see spec B of each science).

AQA there's a 25 marker essay (for AQA a-level biology) and fair enough.

Ah. Hadn’t heard about that - but it does seem pretty crap. The A level biology teacher at my sixth form used to teach AQA and only had good things to say about it.

I didn't do A-level AQA science (unless you count econ) or A-level biology though so idk what it's like.
Thoughts??

There are two outcomes from this. I either get an E or I get a D because the grade boundaries will have lowered

That was not great - Q39 was so hard.

I'm honestly just hoping I can scrape them back in 2 and 3 that was shocking
