Don't worry I'm in exactly the same situation. Hopefully we will hear in the next week or so, but on the facebook page they said we should all hear in the next 3 weeks. I'm hoping that their estimate of 3 weeks was pessimistic and most of us should know before then.
I wouldn't for the first two or three days, that's when you need to be socialising with your flat mates.
I tottally agree but i dont think it would stop me either.. Anyway if anyone has an answer i would appreciate it because i should search for a hotel if guests are not allowed!
I picked osborne house, but it's quiet accommodation, definitely made a bad choice!
its not always a bad choice, you can always attend gatherings in other halls if you make friends! plus imagine all the times people living in more lively places wished their neighbours would stfu! :P

No I'm transferring uni, having experienced a freshers before and a year in halls, I would much prefer to be in a lively accommodation. Not only because it's more fun but I go a bit mental during freshers and I'm more likely to be thrown out of a quiet halls than a normal one.
Under polden court on the website it says 'own fridge and kettle' does that really mean that each person gets their own fridge and kettle in their room????
