hey all,

just me ranting on about the polar bears in singapore,

now i've actually seen these polar bears for real when i went on holiday there and the conditions they are kept in suck, i mean they are meant to be in sub zero temperatures, not in the mid to high thirties!!!!!!!!

bugger just realised the link doesnt work

but anyhows, because the bears are being kept in relatively high temps, which is causing algae to grow in their hollow hair shafts making them turn green,

the only course of treatment is to wash them in hydrogen peroxide !!!!
now that just sucks,

That link doesn't work. But no, it is not right to keep the poor polar bears in warm climates.

I'm sure the owners of those bears wouldn't want to be moved to the Arctic where its not their habitat. Yet they move the bears. They probably suffer from heat exhaustion i expect :frown:

I've said it before and i'll say it again; democracy simply doesn't work. I agree, put the owners in the middle of the Arctic, see how they like it, and watch them freeze their asses off!
