Can anyone help me with this pls:

If x = (Ap + B)^r and p = at^2 + bt + c, find an expression for dx/dt using the Chain Rule.

Thanks!

first, find dx/dp.

dx/dp = r(Ap + B)^(r-1) * A = Ar(Ap + B)^(r-1) .

Then find dp/dt.

dp/dt = 2at + b.

By the chain rule, dx/dt = dx/dp * dp/dt

Hence dx/dt = [Ar(Ap + B)^(r-1)] * [2at + b]

hope this helps.

dx/dp = rA(Ap+B)^(r-1)

dp/dt = 2at + b

dx/dt = dx/dp * dp/dt = rA(Ap+B)^(r-1) * (2at + b)
