Although I got 4 for the scale factor I'm positive it was actually 5! Makes so much more sense. But hopefully there will be some error carried forward marks even if you did do scale factor 4

i think its scale factor 4 because the area scale facotr is then 16 which makes perfect sense for the last question in that one

NO the length scale factor is 3/15. Am I right guys?

Yep y= 2/3x +5
As it had to pass through (6,9)
Took me ages to work out though haha!

 how about B) of that question. that parralel one?

1st question i got 45, then 1:150. For the surface area of the cube i got 73.5, for the last one i got -4, 32 and 2.5 and 12. For the gradient one i got 2/3x plus 5. For the india one i got 40.4 percent. for the 3 positive integers with mean of 4 and range of 7 i got 1,3,8. For the peas question i got 3.12, 13/25, 1/10, 1/30

I really hope so. Or at least I hope we get some marks .
Yay so I got everything right except for Q18. So far. Providing I haven't made silly mistakes.
I got 34.5 for Q18. Urgh. I used the alternate segment theorem though. ;(
I go to a really good school that's up there in the league tables and people in my Maths set found it hard.

and for the scale factor enlargement one i got 14, 3.8, then 50 as i think the s.f was 5

yes 1:150. and 45 for that aeroplane or 54?

I think i got
1a) 45
1b) 1:150

can someone run through the answers for Q2) about putting in the correct numbers into that A = kx (something like that!)

How did you do the y = mx + c thing & the gradient?

i got 10 for the regular polygon one
i remember getting n=13 for the indicie one
but i had no idea for qu 18

yes all true but how did u get that lower bound one, surface area? wasnt it 12.25 after getting 3.5?
Reply 191
for qu 2 i think i got 6, then 1.5
Original post by Emsss
I also tried it on a random number ie 100 . Theres now 120 . 17% of that now is 20.4 .
120 + 20.4 is 140.4

Original is 100
Result 140.4
How much has it increased by then :')

its got to be 40.4

i multiplied 12.25 by 6 because a cube has 6 sides

i got 4 over 25

nono, the answer was 1/10.

Im pretty certain the scale factor enlargement was 4....hmmmmm.....

I got 14 but I used s.f 4 I think ????
The scale factor was 4 everyone
12 divided by 3 = 4
4x3.5 = 14cm
B) 19 divided by 4 =4.75cm
C) 4 squared = 16
16 x 2 = 32 cm squared
That's not that hard guys..

I am almost certain that's wrong, it's 1/10.
P(2,2 + 3,1 +1,3) = 1/10

damn i made a silly silly mistake...yeah you are right

after making y the subject, divide everything by two. then you get 2 over 3 as the M
