When you're in University say, doing a maths degree and you're interested in physics, are you allowed to go to the physics lectures just for fun to learn it?

Yeah as above, my lectures are 300+ people, so no one would notice if you slipped in, but I doubt you are actually allowed to. A few people did last year just because they were interested in seeing what other lectures were like, however some might be smaller lectures, where you will definitely be noticed!

I have reason to believe we are at Oxford, there are some courses eg medicine which you aren't allowed but for most I believe you, are and like others have said in most they won't notice if you do.
